================================================ Subject: Re: [ Creed Discuss ] Stapp's personal life-stay out of it From: "DAWN ZALUCKI" To: Date: Fri 10 Jan 2003 12:14:14 -0600 ================================================ I can sympathize with BOTH of you....although my son was not diagnosed with ASD he was diagnosed with a condition called Microcephaly, which basically means he was born with an abnormally small head & a portion of his brain was absent when he was born. So this has left him physically and mentally handicapped. He will be 7 this year and is not walking OR talking. And is still in diapers. My husband and I have taken him to all kinds of Dr.'s and none of them can give us any answers as to WHY this happened. And the thing that irritats me the most is that....there are women out there that will drink and od drugs while they are pregnant & there babies come out fine.....I take care of myself...and this is what happens. I don't get it. But my son is HEALTHY despite his handicapp & thata all that matters!! He is going to school, and has physical, occupational & speech therapy at school. He is a very happy little boy and we love him to death!!
